These Terms & Conditions apply to services and products provided by Sex Talk With Sylvs CIC and to the use of this website. By booking a service, purchasing a product or using this website, you agree to these terms where applicable.

About Us

Sex Talk With Sylvs CIC is a Community Interest Company providing psychosexual and relationship therapy, education, workshops and related products and services.

Therapy Services

Psychosexual and relationship therapy is provided within appropriate professional and ethical boundaries.

Therapy is a collaborative process and individual outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Before commencing therapy, clients are provided with a separate Confidential Therapy Agreement which contains more detailed information about the therapeutic relationship, confidentiality, attendance, communication and other arrangements specific to clinical work.

Where there is any difference between these general website Terms & Conditions and the terms of your individual therapy agreement in relation to your therapy, the therapy agreement will apply.

Appointments

Appointments are arranged directly with Sex Talk With Sylvs CIC and are currently provided online unless otherwise agreed.

Clients are responsible for attending appointments at the agreed date and time and for ensuring they have a suitable private space and reliable internet connection for online sessions.

Fees and Payment

Current fees will be confirmed before therapy or another paid service begins.

Payment arrangements will be communicated when your appointment or service is confirmed.

Sex Talk With Sylvs CIC reserves the right to change its fees. Existing clients will be given reasonable notice of changes affecting their ongoing therapy.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a therapy appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice and missed appointments may be charged at the full session fee.

Where Sex Talk With Sylvs CIC needs to cancel or rearrange an appointment, you will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible and an alternative appointment will be offered where appropriate.

Confidentiality

Information shared during therapy is treated confidentially subject to certain professional, safeguarding and legal limitations.

Therapy clients receive a separate Confidential Therapy Agreement explaining confidentiality and its limitations in more detail.

Discovery Calls

Complimentary discovery calls are intended to provide an opportunity to briefly discuss what you are seeking support with and whether Sex Talk With Sylvs CIC may be an appropriate service for you.

A discovery call is not a therapy session and does not establish an ongoing therapeutic relationship.

Digital Products

Digital products including ebooks are supplied for personal use only unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, publish or commercially exploit any digital product or its contents without prior written permission from Sex Talk With Sylvs CIC.

All intellectual property rights in original materials remain with Sex Talk With Sylvs CIC and/or the identified copyright holder.

Educational Information

Information provided on this website, through social media, ebooks, workshops or other educational materials is provided for general educational and informational purposes.

It is not a substitute for individual therapy, medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

Workshops and Other Services

Specific terms relating to workshops, commissioned work, speaking engagements or other services may be agreed separately with the individual or organisation booking the service.

Where separate written terms have been agreed, those terms will apply to that service.

Refunds

Refunds are subject to the applicable Refund Policy and any specific terms communicated when purchasing a service or product.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable UK consumer law.
